who is the distracted yogi?

My name is Tiffany Coombs. I have been distracted since 1988. I am a neurospicy creative person with Sensory Processing Disorder and ADHD. I also have epilepsy! After spending most of my youth feeling incapable, frustrated and behind, I began to develop a DIY lifestyle (for better or for worse…), finding tricks and making decisions that supported my unique needs. I found yoga in 2003 and was instantly drawn to the physical postures, meditation, and philosophy and incorporated the wisdom gained from ancient practices into my life. I felt focused, powerful, free, and loved. Who doesn’t love that?

With a free spirit, lots of therapy, validation from social media, and the powerful practice of yoga, I have stepped into a place of self-acceptance and the desire to help my fellow distracted yogis.

As a yoga teacher, I incorporate DIY tips and tricks, yoga philosophy, kinesiology, and humor to encourage mindfulness and self love. I use specific techniques to keep those busy, easily bored, easily distracted brains of ours engaged and focused. If I can do it, you can do it. I believe in you. Get on your mat. Let me help you.

*disclaimer* I am not a mental health professional, psychologist, or expert in neurospiciness and I dont’t pretend to be those things online! I am here to offer tips, tricks, and loving support based on my life experience and yoga practice.

Read on for boring credentials…

Her teaching style is heavily influenced by Prana Flow Yoga with Maria Garre and Yoga Medicine with Tiffany Cruikshank. You can expect creative, intelligent sequencing that encourages healthy movement in unexpected ways. She has grounded knowledge in Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, and Therapeutic Yoga. Her love of learning and self-care is an extension of her passion to educate and empower others so that we may find wellness and peace.

She is a mommy to a sweet little girl and to a sweet little kitty named Peter. Hobbies include coffee, making crafts with the little girl, indulging in artistic hyperfixations, and watching trash tv (we all have our vices, right?).
